We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in London!
Contract Information
* Location: London, St Pauls
* Hours: Average 42 hours per week, based on a 12 hour shift pattern rotating through days, nights and weekends
* Pay rate: £16.23 per hour (Equating to £35,544 per year based on shift pattern)
* SIA Licence required: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor
* Contract Incentive Bonus: up to £700 per year, depending on performance
* FREC Level 3 desirable; willingness to achieve essential
Your Time at Work
Security Officers play a vital role in the protection of our Client's premises, assets, personnel and visitors, which are the key priorities of the security provider. They are required to project a security presence which is both commanding and authoritative whilst remaining calm and professional at all times.
Responsibilities
* Greeting staff and visitors
* Providing a high level of customer service
* Dealing with first aid incidents & follow-up report writing
* Controlling access in and out of the building
* Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
* Dealing with disturbances/issues and security incidents
Requirements
* Valid SIA Licence (Security Guard level or above)
* FREC Level 3 or advanced FAAW qualification desirable; willingness to achieve essential
* Previous security experience desirable but not essential
* Aged 18 or over
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Tech‑savvy for digital devices
* A good standard of education in Maths, English and IT
* Entry‑level IT qualification desirable
