About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support our QA Manager and contribute to the future success of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a quality background in the FMCG food and drinks industry, with experience as a qualified internal auditor.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Investigate and respond to customer complaints within defined time parameters.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with quality standards.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control and food safety.
* Monitor compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards.
* Support training of production and operational staff on quality standards and food safety practices.
* Involvement in root cause analysis and contributing to corrective and preventative actions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing ideas and participating in projects.
Candidate Requirements
* 3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role.
* Relevant Internal Auditor qualification and previous experience.
* Level 2/3 HACCP and working involvement within a HACCP team.
* Level 3 Food Safety.
* Working knowledge of BRCGS is essential.
* Excellent communication, administrative, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Benefits and Working Conditions
This role is based on site at our main offices, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
