Payroll Specialist – 6 month FTC – Manchester – Hybrid – up to £70,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a sports memorabilia company, who are looking for a Payroll Specialist, on a 6 month FTC basis. This role will be responsible for coordinating payroll operations, across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced, international environment, and will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. This role is on a hybrid basis consisting of 4 days per week, based in their Manchester office.
The Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
* Process and oversee monthly payrolls, across multiple EMEA countries using ADP
* Collect, verify, and input payroll data including new starters, leavers, variable pay, and benefit deductions
* Liaise with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to meet payroll timelines and resolve discrepancies
* Ensure full statutory compliance with local payroll, tax regulations in each country
* Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, including reconciliations and audit support
* Maintain payroll records in accordance with legal and internal policy requirements
* Respond promptly and professionally to payroll related employee queries
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes, documentation, and systems
Key Skills:
* Proven experience processing EMEA payrolls in a multi country context
* ADP experience is desirable
* Strong knowledge of local tax, pension, and labour regulations across EMEA countries
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality
