Join a community that cares about you! More about your role As our Apprentice Landscaper, you'll help keep our outdoor spaces clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Your duties will include mowing lawns, edging, strimming, pruning hedges, litter picking, weed spraying, moss removal, and leaf clearance. You'll also support the upkeep of playgrounds, walkways, and car parks, including snow clearance and gritting during winter. As part of your role, you'll report any repairs or hazards you notice on site, such as damaged fences, broken equipment, or unsafe areas. You'll use and care for grounds‑maintenance equipment, follow all health and safety guidelines, take part in training, and help uphold the company's people promises. Although this role is advertised in a specific location, you will be required to work in surrounding areas. Essential Criteria Demonstrated interest in landscaping or outdoor work (e.g., relevant coursework, volunteering, or practical experience). Experience working outdoors or in physically active roles. Evidence of teamwork or customer‑facing experience from previous jobs, projects, or volunteering. More about you You have a genuine interest in building a career in landscaping and are happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You work well with both customers and colleagues, bringing a positive, can‑do attitude and staying open to feedback. You're motivated to keep improving your skills, and you're able to stay organised and plan your work effectively.
