Description and requirements
As the L&D Manager you will deliver learning and development initiatives that drive talent development, employee competencies and organisational performance. To partner with Operating Unit leadership, project directors and line managers to embed a culture of continuous learning and development aligned with Skanska’s values.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives aligned with the Building Services operating unit and ‘one Skanska’ philosophy
2. Collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to identify skill gaps, future talent needs, and critical capability requirements.
3. Deliver and evaluate learning interventions that enhance technical skills and leadership capabilities across the operating units (e.g. line manager training, team building).
4. Design and deliver local interventions where required, collaborating with BU learning professionals to adopt and adapt existing content
5. Partner with a BU Capability area to identify and address competency gaps using learning needs analysis
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with OU leadership, project directors, HRBPs, line managers, as well as L&D Managers in other operating units and the central HR function, to ensure L&D initiatives meet evolving business needs.
7. Support the OU quarterly Talent Review process and demonstrate tangible outputs in relation to the development of OULT successors.
8. Monitor and track employee completion of mandatory training programs to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
9. Partner with Project team to create learning and development budget and required spend for compliance training and development interventions
10. Provide data reporting as required to stakeholders

13. Experience in leading learning and development initiatives in a complex, project-based environment
14. Experience of key L&D functions including training facilitation; succession planning; learning needs analysis.
