CNC Recruitment is currently recruiting a Food and Beverage Manager to manage the bar and catering operations at a busy private sports facility near Sherborne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, and social environment with flexible hours and great staff benefits.
You’ll be a key part of the bar and catering team, ensuring members and guests receive excellent service day-to-day and during events. From setting up the bar and serving drinks to handling cash and keeping the space clean and welcoming, you'll be at the heart of the hospitality experience.
Location: Sherborne, Dorset
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Min £16 p/hr
Schedule: 5 days per week over 7 days – some weekend work for events and functions
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent service to members and visitors
* Manage the day to day running of the bar and restaurant
* Manage stock inventory
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
* Follow licensing regulations and company policies
* Organise event preparation and service
* Communicate clearly with team members and management
Requirements
Essential:
* 2 years of management experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A flexible, team-oriented mindset
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to organise staff rotas
* Ability to work under pressure and use your initiative
* Drive to grow and broaden the hospitality aspect of the business
Preferred:
* Previous experience in a hospitality or sports club environment
* Knowledge of licensing laws and safe alcohol service
