Responsibilities
* Provide financial analysis, budget monitoring and support to budget holders and senior officers.
* Contribute to business cases and financial planning.
* Shape financial processes and reporting for the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Limited (TVERL) programme.
* Build strong relationships across council services.
Qualifications
* Experience as a finance professional in the public sector (local government, education, health or similar).
* Strategic insight and ability to quickly establish credibility within a complex environment.
* Experience supporting waste management services is highly advantageous.
