Pepsi Lipton is a global joint venture organization created between PepsiCo and Unilever in 1994 - a ~$ billion System Revenue business with a strong track record for growth and a portfolio of the 3 biggest iced tea brands in the world, Lipton, Pure Leaf, and Brisk. It’s the market leader within North America and Europe and has a presence in over 50 markets across the globe.

Ready-to-drink Tea (RTDT) is a significant growth opportunity globally, accounting for <1% of the LRB market and yet offering distinctive, on-trend refreshment beverage experiences. Building on the power of tea and its inherent goodness, Pepsi Lipton’s mission is to Replenish People & Nature via an ambitious net zero goal and tasty products that are better-for-you vs. other popular Liquid Refreshment Beverages (LRB) such as Carbonated Soft Drinks.

The joint venture is an autonomous entity and has its own board of directors (50% UL and 50% PEP) and a dedicated global leadership team. The JV offers an exciting blend of Unilever and PepsiCo employees who have been seconded from our Parent Companies for stints that average 3 to 4 years. We have 5 regional groups operating across North America; Europe; Latin America; AMESA (Africa, Middle East, and South Asia); and APAC (North Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia/ New Zealand) where we are continuously pioneering new ground.

Main Purpose of the role:

The role is responsible for owning the Talent agenda of the JV, from the day to day execution and implementation to long-term strategic planning and capabilities development in collaboration with JV Global Head of HR. Working closely with the Global Leadership team & Parent companies ( UL and PEP) to implement JV Talent Strategy priorities across talent acquisition, development and return as well as the key Talent processes (PPP, PMP, OHS).


Responsibilities

1. Drive the planning and implementation of the JV Talent Strategy across the JV.
2. End to End ownership of Talent Agenda of Europe, APAC, AMESA Regions as well as Business Development Function.
3. Proactively build and establish strong relationship with Pepsi Lipton leadership team as well as the key stakeholders and senior leaders from the JV’s parent companies (Unilever & PepsiCo) to deliver on the 3 key pillars of the strategy (Acquire/Develop/Return).
4. Lead the JV regional/functional re-organizations and transformations.
5. Drive JV visibility in/connection with Parent Companies.
6. Continuously track the progress on the key Talent Strategy Targets.
7. Maintain a holistic understanding of the JV talent needs and focus areas across all functions & regions.
8. Drive the key capabilities development across the JV.
9. Lead key HR Processes across the JV( PPP, PMP, Career).
10. Drive the OHS results analysis as well as comms, action planning & execution.
11. Manage the Audit process for the HR Function.
12. Drive the continuous managers’ and employees upskill on the core talent processes as well as the skills to support the Pepsi Lipton Way.
13. Drive engagement, recognition and culture initiatives for PLI Europe, APAC and AMESA.
14. Lead the team of 3 HRPBs from PepsiCo and Unilever.
