The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Baristato lead our team, ensuring the highest standards of product quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach, creativity in menu offerings, and strong leadership skills to drive the deli’s success.
Key Job Responsibilities
· Prepare and serve drinks: Know and prepare a variety of cold and hot cafeteria beverages.
· Attend to customers: Take orders and serve drinks efficiently and with excellent customer service.
· Liasie with the Food & Beverage Manager and Bar Manager, to help with stock management, ordering, inventory and stock takes.
· To help train and develop all exsisitng and new starters.
· Come up with new and exciting iniatives.
· Help plan events and special ideas within the café space.
· Maintain bar cleanliness: Clean and sanitize the bar, utensils, and work surfaces.
· Process payments: Handle cash and credit cards, ensuring transactions are accurate.
· Respond to customer requests and complaints: Resolve issues quickly and effectively.
· Collaborate with the floor team: Coordinate with waiters to ensure correct order delivery.
· Report any problems, requests, conflicts, or incidents to Supervisors and Managers: Communicate any situation that requires immediate attention.
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a deli, café, bakery, or food retail environment.
* Passion for fresh food, excellent coffee, and customer service.
* Knowledge of stock management, cost control, and supplier negotiations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
