We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join us on a permanent basis, you will ensure all spaces are maintained to a high standard and carrying out a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, shrub bed works and site clearance works. Duties Deliver a grounds maintenance service based on customer involvement, satisfaction and sustainability Work as part of a team to maintain all Incommunities spaces to a high standard of appearance and safety Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, shrub bed works and site clearance works You will be a star performer if you: You have basic grounds maintenance knowledge or the willingness to learn You have previously used tools such as mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers and back pack blowers You are an excellent team player with good communication skills You are self motivated, respectful, trustworthy and punctual Requirements Practical experience in a horticultural or arboriculture role and/or a qualification in this area A full UK manual driving license is essential The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete relevant paperwork At least 2 suitable references The willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and on all ground terrain types A general awareness of Health and Safety including safe site working practice A good work ethic and customer service skills to interact with our customers who may on occasion approach the grounds team with queries Benefits Salary of £25,881 upto £26,283 per year Social Housing Pension Scheme 28 days annual leave which increases with service plus bank holidays Training, development, and qualification opportunities Corporate health scheme membership Access to an Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to work scheme Local gym membership discounts.
