Land & Development Director
Flexible on location, hybrid working.
£90k – £k plus package (including 10% of profit on each scheme).

Do you have a proven track record of sourcing & acquiring land & development opportunities, as well as the development skills to get these sites “oven-ready” to be handed over to the construction arm?
Do you want to take a build this business unit, recruit a team under you and take a share in the profits?
My client are a highly respected company in the care & later living space, delivering high-quality developments for their clients.
Now ready to source, develop and deliver projects for their clients, they are looking to recruit a Development Director to spearhead the new arm of their business.
You will have experience operating in a senior land or development role in the the care and / or later living sector, and be able to source & acquire sites ready for development.
My client is more than happy to look at consented sites, and also sites that need planning work.
The expectation is that you will bring in 2-3 sites in the first year, with a view to then growing the business unit and building a team out underneath you. In the longer term, there is the opportunity for this role to develop into a Managing Director role.
Requirements:
1. Land & development background, within the care / later living sectors.
2. Proven track record of sourcing and acquiring sites in the care / later living sectors.
3. The ability to drive projects through the development process, utilising and managing consultants and getting schemes “oven-ready” to hand over to the construction team.
4. The ability to put together a business plan for developing and growing the development arm of the business, and working the the MD to bring this to life.
5. A drive and desire to be a part of growing something, with a view to sharing in the spoils.
