Job Title: New Product Development (NPD) Manager
Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 (DOE)

As part of their ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and creative professional to lead product development initiatives and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a dynamic and evolving brand within the snacking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end NPD process, from initial concept through to launch, ensuring projects align with company goals and customer expectations.
* Oversee product trials and sensory evaluations, offering expert feedback to guide successful development outcomes.
* Manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all key milestones are delivered on schedule.
* Source and manage ingredients and materials, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Innovation, Production, Quality, and Commercial to ensure seamless development and market introduction of new products.
* Stay up-to-date with consumer trends, competitor activity, and market insights to inform product innovation strategies.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements related to NPD and EPD activities.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to the NPD team.
Candidate Profile - Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in New Product Development within the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional development teams.
* Experience managing and developing a high-performing team.
* Solid understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and quality assurance protocols.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
* Creative mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player with a passion for the food industry.
