Technical Delivery: Design and coordinate building structures using all major construction materials. Collaborate with design and client teams, ensuring the integration of our designs with other contributions to achieve seamless project outcomes. Represent the organisation at all project stages, effectively communicating with stakeholders to explain designs, address needs, and resolve challenges. Engage with contractors during construction phases, reviewing contractor-designed elements, conducting site inspections, and responding to queries promptly. Team Management: Assist with the planning of engineering resources to ensure effective project delivery. Contribute to change control procedures and conduct thorough reviews of designs and project deliverables. Support financial performance by contributing to monthly invoicing, fee forecasting, and debt recovery processes. Gain experience in team management, including addressing staff issues and identifying team development needs. Client and Business Development: Build on knowledge by engaging in networking meetings, events, and project bids. Support the management of key client relationships and develop an understanding of client retention strategies. About You: You will be degree qualified (BEng/MEng) in Structural or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience or completion of an apprentice end point assessment. You will have proven experience in delivering building structure projects with strong design, analytical, and problem-solving skills - both software-based and by hand, and ideally you will be proficient in the use of Tekla Building structures. You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills abilities. Why Join us?
