The Team Leader role is based in our waste team within the Combined Packaging Regimes department of Environmental Markets and Regulation. We ensure companies dispose of waste correctly by enforcing government regulations — 'right waste, right place'.
You will lead, manage, and support your team to deliver compliance and enforcement in your area. This role is based in the South East, with training and support provided to ensure your success.
Responding to incidents is a key part of this role. You will have an incident role, with full training and support, and may receive additional payments for this.
The department promotes health, safety, wellbeing, and development. Key regulated areas include Packaging Waste, WEEE, Batteries, and International Waste Shipments.
