A 2 day working week is proposed, the days worked are negotiable. We can provide a fixed rota to suit any childcare needs/ hours that suit you. Every day starts with a morning team get together at 8.30am to debrief the day ahead, our last consultation is 6.20pm to enable a 7pm leaving time. Working 1 in 4 Saturday morning 9-12.00pm is part of the working rota with the majority of the appointments only booked on the day to prevent overbooking, the last consultation being at 11.20am to enable a 12pm finish time. With the added attraction of no OOH and no Sundays, this position can be flexed around what is important to you, working patterns are flexible, prefer consults or surgery, we acknowledge and respect everyone is individual and their needs will vary, whilst all focusing on the common bond of providing the best clinical care we can. A balanced quality of life for our colleagues is important we are ideally located on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, with excellent transport links and the diversity of having both the facilities of a vibrant city as well as rural life, the North York Moors and beaches on the door step. The practice is well established, partner owned for 16years; flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases. We have the usual day to day diagnostics such as otoscope, ophthalmoscope, tonopen, microscopy, glucometer, and in addition to this digital and dental radiography, in house catalyst, lasercyte and sedivue, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring, lap spay equipment and a good range of orthopaedic equipment. Where possible sick pet consultations will be 30 minutes. Your working day will also have time built in for admin (morning, midday and afternoon) for client prescriptions, phone calls, case research time that is often missed off from traditional ways of working, but paramount in being part of what is needed to provide the clinical care and service that is needed by today's clients. A high proportion of our clients are insured, and we also offer financial assistance via Klarna & Omnicapital as well as having a PDSA local to eligible clients. We are also spoilt with 3 world class referral centres within an hour's drive for our clients with whom we have excellent rapport. You will be joining an established team led by Vet Kat Goldsbrough MRCVS, 2 Vets, 4 Nurses working to schedule 3, 3 student nurses all fully supported by a Practice Manager and 4 Client Care Advisors.
