We’re hiring a Senior SDET — a deeply technical role for engineers with a strong development background who’ve transitioned into testing and quality. You’ll play a key role in building out our internal automation ecosystem—designing the frameworks, libraries, and tooling we need from the ground up.
This isn’t just about writing tests. It’s about understanding complex systems, improving testability through architecture and design, and engineering custom solutions that raise the bar for quality across the board.
You’ll be embedded in cross-functional teams and work across the stack—front-end, back-end, and APIs—with a focus on scalability, reliability, and developer enablement. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to lead by example and deliver robust, reusable automation foundations.
What you’ll do:
* Build custom automation frameworks, libraries, and tooling to support rapid, reliable testing.
* Architect end-to-end automation solutions across APIs, UI, and services.
* Deeply analyse our systems and propose improvements to testability and quality architecture.
* Drive CI/CD automation, shift-left testing practices, and quality-by-design across teams.
* Mentor developers and testers on best practices, tooling, and automation techniques.
You should have:
* A software engineering background with a strong understanding of design and architecture.
* Proven experience building automation ecosystems from scratch—frameworks, test libraries, internal tooling.
* Experience testing both front-end and back-end systems; .NET is ideal, others welcome.
* Strong coding skills in C#, Java, or similar.
* Solid experience with API testing and automation (RESTful services, microservices).
* Familiarity with tools like Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress.
