The Traveling Recruiter will spend the majority of time traveling to college fairs, high schools, and meeting with prospective students at events off-campus from from August – October. The Recruiter will share the Messiah University story with prospective students and their families with the goal to grow a strong inquiry pool. When not traveling, this position will support the admissions team administratively.

Special Working Conditions
• Ability to travel extensively. There will be evening and weekend responsibilities. Although primarily traveling, will need to have housing arrangements during weekends or days not traveling for the role.

Primary Duties
1. Travel to college fairs, high schools or other off-campus events to represent Messiah College
2. Plan and execute 12 weeks of travel including the scheduling of appointments and hotels
3. Enter prospective student data into the Slate CRM on a daily basis
4. Document travel events and evaluations in Slate CRM
5. Submit regular reports regarding recruitment activities to supervisor
6. Communicate important information concerning specific students and events to respective admissions territory managers
7. Document and allocate expenses
8. Assist with occasional on campus events, visits, etc. when not traveling
9. Maintain consistent and timely attendance at scheduled events
