Role Description
This is a full-time, Design & Estimator role located in Chorley. The role includes designing and estimating fire and security systems such as Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and IP-based solutions tailored to customer requirements. Key responsibilities include interpreting client specifications, conducting site surveys, preparing cost estimates, creating technical drawings, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality proposals. The role requires regular interaction with clients to provide expert advice on fire and security solutions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in system design and cost estimation for Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
* Strong ability to interpret client specifications and conduct detailed site surveys.
* Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and creating technical drawings.
* Strong client communication and collaboration skills to provide professional advice and support.
* Organisational skills to meet deadlines effectively.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance related to fire and security systems.
* Experience in the fire and security protection industry is preferred.
* A relevant qualification in engineering, design, or a related field is an advantage.
