Main duties of the job
Fixed term 12‑month contract.
Role involves advanced cardiac diagnostics, performing and independently reporting echocardiograms, implant and follow‑up of cardiac devices, and supporting diagnostic angiography. The position includes managerial responsibilities and project management tasks.
Education and Qualifications
* ASCST diploma or equivalent
* BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent
* Possession of BSE Accreditation or working towards
* RCCP or HCPC registration
* Intermediate Life Support Certification
Experience and Knowledge
* Advanced knowledge and experience in cardiac diagnostics.
* Proficient in performing and independently reporting: provocative ECG, ambulatory monitor recordings, internal loop recorder downloads, urgent and planned complex device implant and follow‑up, and adult echocardiography. Carry out diagnostic angiography.
* Experience of project management.
* Current experience in advanced practice.

Salary
£49,387 to £56,515 a year, pro‑rata.
