Resourced Provision Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Wakefield
At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Wakefield and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of support positions available, to start immediately. This would be to work in a resourced provision which is based at a mainstream primary school. The children will be a mixture of KS1 and KS2 pupils and will have various different needs as it is more based on ability.
The students have the following learning needs
* MLD
* Autism
* ADHD
* Behaviour issues
It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.
About the role:
* Earn up to £500 per week
* Full-time positions available
* Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
* 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
* Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
* Supporting students with challenging behaviour
