Job Description
* Co-ordinate research projects and ensure financial viability.
* Develop and manage budgets for ongoing and upcoming research initiatives.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
* Prepare financial reports and statements for the Accounting & Finance department.
* Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.
* Assist in the planning and execution of departmental strategies.
* Contribute to the overall success of the not-for-profit initiatives by actively participating in team efforts.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Coordinator should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
* Strong research skills, particularly in the not-for-profit sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of legal and regulatory standards in the accounting and finance industry.
