A well-established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Civils Foreman to join a major infrastructure project running across the Newtown to Welshpool region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term scheme with strong potential for ongoing work beyond the initial programme.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a civils gang of approximately 9 operatives delivering ducting and associated civils works for 20kV cable installations. The cable pulling itself will be completed by a specialist contractor once the civils package is complete.
? Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day site operations
Supervising a gang of approximately 9 operatives
Overseeing ducting installation and associated civils works
Coordinating works with follow-on contractors
Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times
Managing quality assurance and site compliance
Liaising with Engineers, Site Managers, and subcontractors

Previous experience working as a Foreman on civils or utilities projects
Strong background in ducting and infrastructure works
Utilities, highways, or power experience preferred
SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
CSCS essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
