As our workload continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Domestic & Commercial Gas Manager to lead our gas division and help drive the next stage of growth.
Job Overview
The Domestic & Commercial Gas Manager will oversee the delivery of gas services across residential and commercial projects. This role involves managing engineers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating installations and servicing work, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee domestic and commercial gas projects from start to completion
* Supervise and support a team of gas engineers and subcontractors
* Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and industry standards
* Plan and schedule installations, servicing, and maintenance work
* Carry out site visits, inspections, and quality control checks
* Ensure correct documentation and certification are completed
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Support business growth by helping develop the gas division
Requirements
* Gas Safe Registered
* Qualifications in Domestic Gas (CCN1, CENWAT)
* Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in managing gas engineers or gas projects
* Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience managing domestic and commercial gas contracts
* Knowledge of heating systems, plant rooms, and commercial boilers
* Experience with compliance, reporting, and certification processes
