Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking an Implementation and Support Engineer. Join Our Team as an Implementation Consultant – Smart Production Expert. Location: Finland, UK, Netherlands, or Germany.
Are you passionate about technology and manufacturing? Do you have hands‑on experience with NC machines and a background in mechanical engineering? We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Implementation Consultant to join our EMIA Fabrication Services Team and play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting our Smart Production solution.

Key Responsibilities
* Project Delivery: Lead or support Smart Production implementations, especially those involving NC machine integration and postprocessor configuration. Travel to customer sites when needed.
* Technical Support & Training: Provide expert-level support and training, particularly in areas involving NC code generation and machine database setup. Self‑study and independent problem‑solving are essential.
* Customization & Collaboration: Work closely with clients to tailor Smart Production solutions to their manufacturing environments. Use T‑SQL to implement custom features and contribute ideas to product development.
* Sales Support: Assist in technical demonstrations and help the sales team communicate the value of our solutions.
Education & Qualifications
* Manufacturing Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, CNC‑plate cutting machines, NC‑code generation, and postprocessor logic. This is essential for success in this role.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in T‑SQL and familiar with Microsoft SQL Server administration. Able to troubleshoot and optimize database‑driven applications.
* Communication & Teamwork: Comfortable working in a multicultural, remote team. Able to present training materials and coordinate effectively with colleagues.
* IT Proficiency: Skilled in Windows environments and curious about software internals. Familiarity with AI tools and their creative applications is a plus.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
* Fluent in English; Finnish proficiency is a plus. Other European languages are welcome.
