The Vacancy
WPS is seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker/Hard Landscaper to join our team in Skelmersdale, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across social housing sites. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in a range of groundworks and property maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installing and relaying concrete flags
2. Carrying out light brickwork and pointing
3. Renewing and installing close board and panelled fencing
4. Working on responsive maintenance contracts across social housing properties
Requirements:
5. Full UK Driving Licence – essential for site travel
6. NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Groundworks or a related construction discipline
7. Proven experience in domestic/residential maintenance environments
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
