This role involves teaching a small class of pupils with ASD, PMLD, and associated complex needs. The school prides itself on providing a supportive, nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.
SEN Teacher Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with ASD, PMLD, SLCN & Complex needs.

Create a safe, structured, and stimulating classroom environment.
*
Use positive behaviour management strategies to support students effectively.
*
Work closely with a strong team of SEN support staff, therapists, and parents.
*
Track progress and contribute to individual learning plans (EHCPs).
About you:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or SEN qualification .
*
Strong knowledge of ASD & PMLD and strategies for supporting students with complex needs.
*
Skilled in managing challenging behaviour with a calm, proactive approach.
*
Flexible, creative, and able to adapt quickly to meet student needs.
*
Committed to promoting inclusion and high expectations for all learners.
