You will provide accurate financial data, performance analysis, and reporting across projects. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support budgets, forecasts, cost control, and commercial decision-making, ensuring financial governance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in project-based environments who are looking to further their career in commercial finance within infrastructure delivery. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and present financial reports across multiple projects. Analyse actual costs versus forecasts for project support and programme management activities. Produce ad hoc financial reports independently. Contribute to project financial reporting, forecasting, and change control processes. Budgeting & Cost Control Assist with budget setting and business plan preparation, liaising with stakeholders. Manage day-to-day financial aspects of contracts, ensuring costs align with budgets. Ensure compliance with financial governance and change control processes. Undertake monthly performance reviews with stakeholders to evaluate project performance. Commercial & Stakeholder Support Support commercial finance management across projects. Promote financial awareness across the organisation. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate cost capture and reporting. General Responsibilities Manage reconciliation, reporting, and analysis of project financial activities. Adapt to organisational and operational changes as required. Undertake any other reasonable duties to support business requirements. Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in a related subject (Finance, Business, Construction, Engineering, or similar). Experience working within a project-based environment. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and functions. Desirables Awareness of commercial finance and cost management principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to identify opportunities for improvement.
