Job Description

Main Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end service delivery as a Commission Manager
* Ensure client objectives are met through effective cost management
Scope
Handle commissions typically ranging from £5m to £10m in sectors like Healthcare, Education, and Retail Banking.
Key Accountabilities
* Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports
* Estimate, plan costs, and present final cost plans using The Hive
* Manage tendering and procurement processes, including contract documentation and analysis
* Administer contracts, manage cost variances, and change control
* Conduct cost checks, valuations, and produce monthly reports
* Engage in value engineering, negotiate final accounts, and interface with clients and project teams
* Lead cost management teams and utilize digital tools like The Hive suite
Marketing & Business Development
* Identify new business opportunities and develop client networks
* Assist with bid documentation and process improvements
* Participate in networking and CPD events
Internal Management
* Manage knowledge input and process improvements
* Support junior staff development and mentorship
Reporting & KPIs
* Report to Senior Cost Managers or Associate Directors
* Manage commissions efficiently, maintain quality standards, and foster client relationships
* Track margins, data, and team collaboration
Candidate Qualifications
* Ability to work independently with initiative
* Working towards or recently achieved Chartered Status (RICS or similar)
* Professional, organized, and relationship-builder
* Experience in delivering cost management services across project lifecycles
* Degree or HNC qualification, ideally with professional accreditation
