Job Purpose
As a Specialist IT, you will report to the Head of IT and serve as a key technical person for our Cambridge site, providing essential support in managing our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our Microsoft 365 ecosystem in collaboration with the rest of the team. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, making this an exciting and dynamic opportunity for IT professionals who thrive in a collaborative and evolving environment. You will have a focus on our ERP systems such as Veeva and/or SAP.
Your Profile
Major Accountabilities
* Microsoft Expertise: Leverage your strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 tools, including Intune, Autopilot, Defender, SharePoint, Teams, to optimize and secure our IT environment.
* Veeva & ERP Support: User and systems support for Veeva and SAP products. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure these systems meet operational needs and compliance standards.
* IT Support: Provide technical support to employees both remotely and onsite, troubleshooting issues and delivering training to enhance adoption and efficiency. Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users and devices.
* Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
* Security and Compliance: Collaborate on implementing and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Collaboration: Facilitate team collaboration by proposing solutions and optimizing tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, etc.
* Project Participation: Contribute expertise to IT projects aimed at enhancing our technology capabilities. Document solutions and support continuous improvement.
* Adaptability: Be prepared to handle various IT tasks as needed, especially in our department’s growth phase.
Job Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or proven experience.
* Good knowledge of Veeva or SAP products is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and services.
* Experience in IT system administration and support.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location
* 2 to 3 days a week at our new Cambridge Office.
