We are seeking to appoint Campaign Managers based around Scotland who can help us develop our regional campaigns for the Scottish Parliament elections. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who thrive on an array of new challenges.

Working closely with other Scottish Conservative campaign staff, Campaign Managers provide focus for campaign priorities in the Scottish Parliamentary regional campaign in the run-up to the election. They ensure effective campaigning is taking place including delivery of leaflets, canvassing and telecanvassing, and work with our regional volunteer teams to develop activist networks and build our campaigning structures.

Your responsibilities

Developing relations with all associations through regular telephone, email and face-to-face contact and reporting any operational difficulties to the Director of the Party in Scotland, your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring delivery of our campaigning throughout the region
2. Organise action days and mutual aid
3. Recruit volunteers and build regional campaign teams
4. Manage an on-going voter contact programme, including phoning and door-to-door canvassing
5. Project manage the production of regional Party literature and build a delivery network
6. Work closely with candidates, councillors, MSPs, MPs and elected representatives of all levels
7. Attend association meetings to ensure staff are familiar with local key personnel / activists
8. Produce reports to the Scottish Director on all campaign activity

Your professional experience:

9. Have experience working on elections for the Party, either in a paid or voluntary level.
10. A self-starter with the ability to take the initiative.
11. A “can-do” flexible professional approach
12. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
13. Proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple campaigns and a wide geographical area. You will be able to drive hard to completion and deliver effective results.
14. Good organisation skills and strong attention to detail.
15. Flexible approach to out of hours working patterns.
16. An ability to develop and empower others.
17. A full UK driving licence and access to a car (you’ll sometimes need to travel to campaign teams)

Timescales:

18. Formal applications will close on Wednesday 1st October 2025
19. Interviews to take place in early October.
20. We are hiring for several roles, based in different locations around Scotland. We are willing to consider applications for part-time and flexible working.
