About the Role:
Are you a proactive and results-driven recruitment professional looking for an immediate opportunity within a leading global healthcare company? We are seeking an Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Abbott's dynamic UK team on a 4-month contract, based full-time in our Maidenhead office.
In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in supporting Abbott's diverse Commercial and Corporate divisions across the UK, covering areas from Toxicology to Diabetes. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for a variety of lower-level roles, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Recruitment: Drive the full recruitment cycle from initial intake with hiring managers and Business HR, through to offer negotiation and successful hire for designated commercial and corporate roles.
* Direct Sourcing Expertise: Proactively identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent through various direct sourcing channels and strategies.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Consult effectively with hiring managers and Business HR, understanding their evolving talent needs and translating them into robust recruitment plans.
* Candidate Management: Skillfully screen, interview, and manage candidates throughout the process, providing timely and professional feedback and ensuring a positive candidate journey.
* Process Excellence: Facilitate structured, best-practice competency-based interviews and ensure all hiring practices meet Abbott’s high-quality standards.
* Offer Management: Conduct salary negotiations and manage the offer process in close alignment with Business HR.
* System Integrity: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Abbott's Applicant Tracking System (Workday) and CRM (Phenom).
* Temporary-to-Permanent: Efficiently manage the transition of temporary staff to permanent positions where applicable.
* Performance Driven: Contribute to key recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, hiring manager satisfaction, and candidate satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
* Education: A university degree is essential, ideally in Human Resources or a related field.
* Experience: Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong emphasis on direct sourcing within a fast-paced environment. Experience within the healthcare sector is a plus, but not essential.
* Location: Ability to work 5 days a week in our Maidenhead office (minimum of 4 days). This is an office-based role.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels of the business.
* Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work diligently under pressure.
* Attitude: A professional, accountable, and collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and a genuine motivation to deliver best-in-class recruitment services.
* Technical Acumen: Familiarity with ATS (Workday) and CRM (Phenom) systems is highly desirable.
