Job Description
The purpose of this role is to coordinate the development, testing and verification of new systems and components or commodities into the Cockpit system.
Responsibilities
* Use the Client’s systems to set up and manage the test plan progression through to sign‑off.
* Ensure all appropriate Client standards are met throughout design maturation.
* Set up the test and development plan for several new cockpit programmes.
* Manage RMDV (the Client’s management tracking system) deck for respective programmes, setting and cascading targets to relevant areas.
* Create and update Bill of Materials for test parts.
* Obtain quotes from suppliers and test houses to complete the plan and liaise with the value‑for‑money team to gain approval.
* Prepare parts for testing, evaluate results, resolve any problems arising, write reports and file back to RMDV.
* Maintain daily interface and programme communication with the Cockpit Module Leader.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of resolving business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment.
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
* Good understanding of the Digi buck and Design Verification processes.
* Understanding of Engineering Standards and Test Procedures.
