Job Summary
We are looking for a new employee to be based in .Summary:Reporting to the Senior Cost Accountant, this role will be part of an excellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious and innovative.What a typical day looks like:
1. Responsible for ensuring all material, labour and expense costs are accurately reflected in the project costing system.
2. Tracking progress of project activities to enable appropriate project financial performance including risk analysis
3. Assist in the management of the project data to ensure accurate reporting and system integrity.
4. Preparing for monthly financial information by investigating variances and analysis for projects to explain actual financial performance against budget
5. Tracking Intercompany transactions and assist with cost and revenue reporting
6. Collaborate with supply chain, commercial and operations teams to further understand projects
7. Assist with month/quarter end activities, as required
8. Assist and support in SOX compliance Internal and External Audits
9. Ad hoc projects as required
The experience/qualification we’re looking to add to our team:
10. Relevant degree.
11. Requires some years of related work experience, ideally in technical/manufacturing environment.
12. Good MS Office skills
13. Working to deadlines with a good attention to detail
14. Good communication and organisational skills are essential
15. Ability to manage day to day work whilst also being part of a team
16. Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
17. Experience of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
18. Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
19. Excellent work ethic with confidentiality at the core
20. Eligibility to work in the UK
