Role Details:
Position: KS1 Maternity Cover Teacher
Location: Bury
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: Two terms (with potential extension)
Working Pattern: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Assess pupil progress and provide feedback in line with school policies
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and fellow staff
* Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
* Contribute to the wider school life and uphold safeguarding standards

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching in KS1
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
