We provide advice, research, and communication to architects, planners, developers, local authorities, and community projects to inform decision-making and enhance city life. Our mission is to increase citizens' access to opportunities through successful urban development. We engage in projects for good urban causes and create campaigns, such as promoting the London National Park City initiative. We publish large format, paper maps about urban nature, walking and more.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Research/Studio Assistant located in Dalston, London. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and supporting various urban mapping and publishing projects. Daily tasks include gathering and evaluating information, and assisting with communication and social media, joining in our co-creation workshops. 2-3 Days a week sought.
Qualifications
* Analytical Skills and Data Management
* Strong Communication Skills
* Basic knowledge of Adobe photoshop, in design, illustrator
* Proficient project and time management
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience or interest in urban development or related fields is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
