The successful candidate will be joining the business during an exciting period of change, part of which will involve transitioning over to a new ERP system and the development of more robust controls, reporting and analysis processes. The ideal person will therefore have a good amount of experience in controlling and financial performance management. You must have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly understand complex business models and operational drivers. Acting as a trusted finance business partner, contributing to strategic and operational finance topics within the controlling organization.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of P&L analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance reporting
Profitability, margin, and cost structure analysis
Preparation of management reports and decision-ready financial insights
Active contribution to planning cycles, financial reviews, and ad-hoc analyses
Close collaboration with the Head of Finance (UK) and cross-functional stakeholders
Continuous improvement of controlling processes and reporting standards
Preferably experience in project and/or service sector (e.g., cost tracking, revenue recognition, margin analysis).
Profile Requirements
10+ years of professional experience in finance
Strong expertise in P&L controlling
Project and/or service controlling experience advantageous
Ability to grasp new topics quickly and translate complexity into clarity
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified
