We are seeking a Configuration Specialist to join our technical communities in the South West.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining and implementing configuration management processes, tools, and standards to support complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead technical coordination activities such as design change management and design review.
* Manage configuration strategy to ensure compliance with project guidelines.
* Support the implementation of the Project Change Request process.
* Ensure resolution of cross-functional technical issues by coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
* Present progress updates, KPI production, and data analysis to support management decisions.
You
* Degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Experience in one or more engineering disciplines (nuclear safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, civil, or layout).
* Prior experience in EPR projects or nuclear new build projects.
* Familiarity with configuration management processes and tools.
* Experience in major infrastructure projects.
* Understanding of various contract types and commercial aspects of major projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of EPR systems, modification processes, and industry practices is desirable.
* Strong organisational skills to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
* Effective communication and active listening skills to build strong relationships.
* A questioning attitude to challenge assumptions and identify potential issues.
