This role is 22.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9.30am-2.00pm
You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring that a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is provided for patients, staff, and visitors at all times. You will work closely with other team members to clean ward and non-ward areas within the Hospital to a high standard. You will also assist in transporting goods within the buildings to ward and non-ward areas and support the in-house maintenance team and/or contractors with a buddy as and when required.
You will need to have a good level of fitness as this is a physical role. You will work closely with other team members; therefore, it will be beneficial if you are a good team player with good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive multi-discipline, domestics, portering, and support services to relevant buildings.
* Ensure that all equipment, tools, and materials are stored in a safe manner in accordance with hospital procedures and in compliance with COSHH.
