Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing bespoke machinery and automated systems using SolidWorks, supporting projects from concept through to installation.
* Design of machinery and systems using SolidWorks 3D CAD
* Creation of 2D detailed engineering drawings and layout schematics
* Producing system layouts and customer approval drawings
* Component specification and selection
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams (PMO & Production)
* Providing on-site installation support for design-related queries
Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements
1. 5+ years' experience as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment - Essential
2. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software - Essential
