Cluster Sales Manager - Clayton Hotel Manchester City and Maldron Manchester Cathedral Quarter

As Cluster Sales Manager, you will report to the Cluster Director of Sales. You will guide and manage hotel operations effectively, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success.

Your Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Conduct lead generation, face-to-face meetings, negotiations, and site inspections, and attend trade shows and client events.
* Track and analyze corporate account performance monthly to identify trends and initiate corrective actions.
* Manage Corporate and Consortia RFPs to maximize hotel inclusion and analyze production reports to optimize business channels.
* Drive meeting and conference bookings and report account performance to the General Manager and Central Office.
* Collaborate on pricing strategies and forecasts with the General Manager and Revenue Manager.
* Oversee the annual marketing budget and implement quarterly activity plans aligned with business needs.
* Create and execute sales and marketing campaigns across media platforms, assessing ROI.
* Develop promotional materials and manage online marketing efforts to drive direct sales via the hotel website.
* Attended trade promotions and managed sales correspondence and contracts using the CRM system.
* Conduct competitor analysis to monitor market trends and maintain the hotel's positive image.
What You Will Need
* 2 to 3 years of experience in a Sales Manager role, preferably in a hotel or customer-focused environment.
* A creative thinker with an outgoing personality, capable of building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
* Proven experience in effective people management within a team environment.
* Sales-focused, target-driven, and results-oriented.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear reports to clients and colleagues.
* Confident, ambitious, and proactive in approach.
