The Role
Basics:
To obtain Registered Manager status with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
To manage the services within Visiting Angels in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices.
To provide leadership to the office staff team and community team.
Create a work atmosphere that promotes a high quality of work life.
Create and maintain a culture of performance and excellence.
Promote and implement the company’s policies and procedures.
Manage costs effectively at all times in agreement with the Registered Provider.
To assist in the improvement and maintenance of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standard
Maintain high levels of care in line with CQC regulations.
Hold excellent relationships with families and clients as well as local authorities.
To assist in generating referrals, either via forming of relationships with relevant people from the Local Council; or from marketing locally so as to receive private referrals.
Requirements:
Must hold Level 5 or be working towards.
Must be able to drive and access to a car.
Must also have at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role within care.
