The Role
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering excellent food and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with passion, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a busy service environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen management.
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with our menus and standards.
* Lead the kitchen team during services in the Head Chef's absence.
* Assist in menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings.
* Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are upheld.
* Help manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
About You
* Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
* Passion for fresh, quality food and attention to detail.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others.
* Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure.
* Knowledge of food safety and kitchen management best practices.
