Position Role : Identify and address the shortfalls in Defence Engineering, focussing effort in a coherent and coordinated programme of work. Responsibilities: 1. Support HoPE Team Leader in initiatives and projects, and represent in MOD strategic, cross-government and industry collaborative forums as the Army SME. 2. Contribute to skills research and transformation programmes. 3. Contribute to the profession’s influence on AFRem, non-Rem incentives and strategic workforce planning. 4. Support the Defence STEM Strategy and lead the development of data solutions for Pan-Defence coordination. 5. Team lead for Defence Engineering Profession communications. 6. Promote and maintain a mentoring scheme for the profession cohort. 7. Support collaboration and projects for the People & Skills WG within the Defence Industrial Joint Council. 8. Provide Staff Officer support to profession governance meetings and maintain the strategic workforce dashboard.
