You’ll help maintain and repair our fleet to the highest safety and presentation standards, playing a vital role in getting thousands of people where they need to be every day.Whether youre prepping vehicles for repaint, repairing bodywork, or installing new panels and fittings, this is your chance to make a real impact and develop your career in a supportive environment.What you’ll be doing:* Preparing vehicles for repaint and refinishing damaged paintwork* Observing and reporting body or structural defects* Carrying out modifications and repairs to the vehicle structure and body fittings* Cutting, forming, and fitting sheet metal, ply, fibreglass and other materials* Fitting panels, windows, doors, mouldings and accessories* Using welding equipment for structural repairs* Ensuring all work meets health & safety and DVSA standardsWhat we’re looking for:* A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail* Hands-on experience in coachbuilding or vehicle body repair (PSV/HGV preferred)* Able to work independently and take initiative* Qualified to Level 3 in PSV or HGV Body Repair, either City & Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, or* BTEC equivalent* Up to 33 days holiday* Generous company pension scheme* Free bus travel for you and a companion* Retail and leisure discounts* Career development, training, mentoring and progression opportunities* Safe, well-equipped working environmentOur culture & environmentAt Stagecoach, we’re proud to be an inclusive employer where everyone is welcome and supported to thrive.
