JOB PURPOSE
TheDataAnalyticsCentreofEnablement(CoE)isseekingaBIAnalysttojoinourteam.Theidealcandidatewillpossessasolidbackgroundindataanalytics.Keyresponsibilitiesincludedevelopingandupdatingdataanalyticstrainingmaterials,establishingbestpracticesandstandards,supportingbusinessfunctionswithsolutiondevelopmentandonboardingtoourtoolsandplatforms,andcollaboratingwithstakeholderstodriveinnovationindataanalyticsacrosstheorganisation.
TheDataAnalyticsCoEteamisanintegralpartofthewiderDataAnalytics&Integrationteam,whichalsoincludesDataScience,DataEngineeringandDataManagementteams.TheteamworkscloselywithagrowingnumberofinternalstakeholdersacrosseasyJetonmultipletransformationprojects.
JOBACCOUNTABILITIES
* Developreports,visualisations,andpresentationstocommunicatestrategicfindingsandpresentinsightsasactionablerecommendationstokeystakeholders,enablingtheorganisationtoimproveitsbusinessprocessesandmakeinformed decisions.
* SupporttheBIAnalystcommunityasagrowingandthrivingcommunityofpractice.
* Analysecomplexdataandperformad-hocanalysistoanswerbusinessquestionsandseekdata-basedinsightsforbusinessoperationsimprovement.
* Supportwithdesignanddeliveryoftechnicaltrainingforanalyticaltoolsandtheirassociatedwaysofworking.
* Beanadvocateforthedataanalyticsoperatingmodel,encouragingadoptionofbestpracticeswithintheBIAnalystcommunity.
* Haveeffectivecommunication&storytellingskillstocommunicateimportantfindingsandproviderecommendationstobothtechnicalandnon-technicalstakeholdersinaclearandunderstandableway.
* Championdatafluencyandself-serveanalytics,engagingwithstakeholderstoshowwhydataisimportantandhowtocreate,interpretandcommunicateinsightseffectively.
* Ensurethatdatatoolsandreportsarewell-explainedanddocumented,aswellaseducatingcolleaguesaboutsuchbestpractices;providinganunderstandingofhowtousetheinformationeffectivelytoachievedesiredoutcomes.

* Experiencewithbusinessintelligence/datavisualisationtools(suchasTableau,Thoughtspot,PowerBI)
* Practicaldatabaseskillswithfocusondataextractionandtransformationintoactionableinsights.
* Alogicalthinkerwithagoodanalyticalbackground.
* Motivated,results-focussedself-starter,comfortableinafastpacedandchallengingenvironment.
* Abilitytocommunicateclearlyandconfidentlywithstakeholders.
