Construction Project Development and Sales Manager Maesteg Competitive Salary Depending on Experience We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Project Development and Sales Manager to lead our client’s early engagement and project coordination team. This is a key leadership position focused on maximising project opportunities through strategic project tracking, internal sales coordination, and CRM-driven insights. You will manage a high-performing team made up of a Team Leader and five Project Coordinators and you will be required to ensure the pipeline is active, accurate, and aligned with commercial strategies whilst also empowering the team to secure new business. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop the team, creating a culture of accountability and success. * Oversee and qualify incoming project leads from industry sources * Drive early engagement with architects, main contractors, and specifiers * Manage and maintain data accuracy ensuring all opportunities are properly tracked. * Support the external sales team with project insights, stakeholder mapping, and coordinated next steps. * Conduct win/loss analysis on opportunities and provide insights to refine future sales approaches. * Create sales forecasting tools to assist with forward planning for manufacturing and operations. * Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to share project intelligence and support relevant campaigns and initiatives. * Monitor market trends and provide monthly reports * Set and report on monthly KPIs for team performance and strategic impact. The Person * Knowledge of Construction project lifecycles and procurement processes * Experience of Internal sales functions and CRM best practices * Proven leadership experience, particularly in managing internal sales or project coordination teams * Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms * High-level communication, analytical, and organisational skills * A strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness * A confident communicator and proactive relationship builder * An organised and data-driven leader who thrives on improving systems and processes * A results-oriented individual who can balance project intelligence with sales performance In return you will be working for a Global business who are continuing to grow both in the UK and Internationally and who pride themselves in providing an environment where you can develop your skills and subsequently your career
