Looking to step into the classroom and make a difference without the full pressure of teaching? We’re looking for confident Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Hartlepool this September.
You’ll be managing classes of students aged 11–16, keeping lessons on track, and making sure learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. Strong communication and a calm, consistent presence are key.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supervising classes across a range of subjects (work will be set)
* Managing behaviour and keeping students engaged
* Supporting pupils with questions and ensuring tasks are completed
* Building positive relationships with students and staff
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience working with young people (school, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring)
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Confidence working with students aged 11–16
* Reliability and flexibility (min. 3 days per week availability)
