Area of Responsibility
Manage selected category account businesses to maximize profitable sales growth and build strategic partnerships through exceptional account management.
Drive profitable sales growth by understanding customer and category needs, with a focus on food ecosystems, sustainability, and achieving customer ambitions.
Specific Tasks:
* Monitor and update costings, focusing on driving value and increasing margins
* Implement growth initiatives and new product opportunities aligned with customer and company strategies
* Lead NPD and EPD efforts to boost profits and sales
* Manage promotional plans across retail and warehouse sectors
* Analyze sales financials versus budgets, working with departments to optimize margins
* Manage open book costing models
* Coordinate with forecasting and planning teams for accurate order management
* Support innovation and supply chain development with customer insights
* Conduct customer meetings and performance reviews, adhering to company procedures
* Maintain relationships with buyers and internal stakeholders to support sales opportunities
* Ensure KPI standards are met for Danish Crown and customers
Job Requirements
* UK sector experience managing top retail relationships
* Experience with own branded products, preferably in pork or meat sectors, with knowledge of the food retail supply chain
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proactive, flexible working approach
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Excellent presentation skills
* Team-oriented, valuing diversity
* Decisive in fast-changing situations
