Service Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a rapidly growing company specialising in advanced manufacturing solutions for the electronics industry.
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and repair of various equipment at customer sites. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting other engineers and the customer service team to quickly and effectively resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities as the Service Engineer:
* Install, commission, and test equipment at customer sites across the UK
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems
* Collaborate with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure high-quality support
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Provide a high standard of service to customers
Experience & Skills Required:
* Previous experience in a similar service role within the electronics or semiconductor industry
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
* Working knowledge of the circuit board assembly process
* Background in SMT would be a strong advantage
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Willingness to travel across the UK (other duties can be completed remotely)
