HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver - Brick Grab
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 HIAB (Brick Grab) Driver to join our client's busy and supportive team based in Falkirk.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who is confident operating a HIAB with brick grab and is happy to assist the wider team with day-to-day operations.
The role offers stable, Monday to Friday hours and long-term, full time permanent work.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
Salary:
£34,000 – £36,400 per annum (depending on experience)

Day-to-day duties:
As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Operating a Category C vehicle fitted with HIAB brick grab safely and efficiently
Delivering materials to sites in a timely and safe manner
Loading and unloading materials using the HIAB crane
Supporting the on-site team with general duties when required
Carrying out daily vehicle and HIAB checks and reporting any defects
Ensuring loads are secured correctly and safely
Adhering to all health & safety, lifting, and transport regulations
Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately
Working closely with supervisors and site teams to support operations
Essential skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need:
A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
A valid HIAB licence with brick grab (ALLMI certified)
A valid EPIC/MP Connect card would also be advantageous
Previous experience operating a HIAB crane
Good communication skills and a strong team-working attitude
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
The right to work in the UK (with proof required)
Desirable experience:
Experience within highways, roads, construction, or utilities environments
Site-based delivery experience
Experience working alongside ground or site teams
Training:
Site-specific paid induction
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
